After the panic attack about the mess in the apartment, I just decided that I will have to live with it. Gizmo is getting used to the idea that I leave him there but I go back and check on him as often as I can since its back to FT work. He sleeps in the bed most of the day but its ok for now. He is back to regular diet and all the extras that come with that. 
How do people with dogs who live in an apartment get up early and walk their dog without looking like they just crawled out of bed? I try to sneak down the stairs so I don't get spotted with no make up, undone hair etc.
